How to fry whole fish in a crispy pan

Frying whole fish in a pan with a crispy and tasty crust is very simple. First you need to select a fish. You can take sea or river, mix different types. The main thing is size. The fish should be medium-sized.


  • Fish - 2 pcs.

  • Salt - 1 tbsp. l .;

  • Egg - 1 pc.;

  • Flour - 4 tbsp.

  • Paprika - 0.5 tsp

  • Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp

  • Vegetable oil - 50 ml.

Then you need to rip open the stomach and remove all the insides.

Next, we are preparing batter. In a flat plate, beat the egg with a pinch of salt.

In another plate, mix the flour with paprika, black pepper and salt. Mix well until smooth.

We also rub the fish with salt, do not forget to add it inside and spray it with lemon juice. Take 1/3 of the whole lemon and squeeze the juice, this volume is enough for 2-3 fish.

We take the fish and dip it on the egg from 2 sides.

Then immediately roll in flour. Spread our pieces of fish in a hot pan. Do not spare vegetable oil, otherwise the slave will burn.

First, fry over high heat for 1-2 minutes, so that the crust grabs. Then we reduce the fire and close the lid, fry for 10 minutes, then you need to turn the fish over and cook for another 5 minutes.
