Sausage in a mug

Sausage is very popular and loved by many. Some do not imagine breakfast without a sausage sandwich. The stores now have a huge selection of sausages for every taste: from boiled to raw-dried, and to any wallet. But it is no secret that the composition of many of them leaves much to be desired. And I don’t really want to feed children with such a product. Therefore, you can only get out of the situation by preparing the sausage yourself. You can cook homemade sausage using a natural shell - a shell, foil, cling film, ceramic mold, and even an ordinary glass or mug. Home-made sausage can be boiled, baked. And depending on the added spices, changing the amount of ingredients each time you can get a sausage with completely different tastes. Special difficulties with the preparation of chicken sausage in a mug should not arise even for a novice cook.

Ingredients for Chicken Sausage in a Mug

  • chicken meat - 700 grams;

  • egg - 1 piece;

  • starch - two large spoons;

  • milk - approximately 300 ml .;

  • salt - one and a half small spoons;

  • ground black pepper - half a small spoon;

  • ground nutmeg - one small spoon;

  • vegetable oil for greasing mugs.

Cooking sausages in a mug

For the preparation of chicken sausage will be used meat of domestic chicken: breast, chicken, thighs.

It is necessary to cut off all the flesh from the seeds. From the seeds, you can then cook a delicious chicken soup.

Grind meat in a convenient way. Scroll in a meat grinder, grind in a combine. The smaller the forcemeat, the more uniform, softer and more tender the sausage will be. Stuffing should have a practically paste-like state.

Transfer the minced meat to the bowl of the combine. Here it will be further chopped and thoroughly mixed with the rest of the ingredients.

Pour salt into a bowl, ground black pepper and ground nutmeg, introduce one egg. Turn on the combine, grind.

Pour in milk or cream to give a more fluid consistency and juiciness to the minced meat and add potato starch. Grind again.

Stuffing should turn out homogeneous, not dense. At this stage, you can add dried sweet pepper or small slices of bell pepper, slices of bacon, olives, spices: cordamon, coriander to the minced meat. And if you add a few drops of beetroot juice, then the stuffing will acquire a pink hue. In general, you can experiment with additives endlessly.

Mugs or glasses must be chosen of the same height, as the sausage will be cooked in a water bath. Grease the mugs with any oil and fill them tightly with minced chicken. Do not fill the circles to the top.

Tightly close the mugs with cling film folded in 2-3 layers.

In a cauldron or pan with a thickened bottom, put a fabric folded 3-4 times and place mugs on it.

Pour hot water into the cauldron so that it is slightly above the middle of the mugs. Turn on the stove and cook the sausage from the moment of boiling for 40-45 minutes.

Gently pull the mugs out of the pan, allow the sausage to cool slightly in the mugs.

Shake out the sausage from the mugs without difficulty.

Cut the sausage into circles. With greens and fresh bread, a very tasty sandwich is obtained. As it turned out, cooking a healthy, chicken sausage in a mug is not at all difficult.
